exporting from fianl cut to make a dvd

i have finished 2 projects and i need to export them from final cut to put them on a dvd... what are the best compressions settings and fastest to make the files small enough to fit on a dvd.. i just spent 2 hours converting a 2 hour video and its like 10 gigs!!! i need help fast.. and for some reason compressor isnt working.. so if you could give me some custom settings for exporting as a quicktime movie it would be much apprciated.. help quick!!
 
Well in compessior you just select 120 min DVD mpeg-2. But if for some reason commpessior is not working then you can go Export > Quicktime Conversion > and select Mpeg 2. In there go to your setting and change to what compressior would have. A two pass VBR, and a bite rate from 5 to 7
