guess who may direct the next Halloween...

You know

If I was gonna do Halloween. I'd take it back to the 70's. Haddonfield IL. It'd take place the night after Part 2.

Preach it, brother!

Michael Myers was born in 1957 so he'll be 50 years old next year. They need to get him back in his 20s.

If they're gonna do it, then do it at least '70s exploitation style, in every sense of it.

You're right, but no one seems to have the chops or at least the clout to pull it off that way, unless it's outside of the studio system. For the most part, all the recent horror crap is depressing.

Except for a rare few, most horror doesn't have the balls anymore, or it's just plain derivative and watered down.

Yeah John, you should do your own version as a short. I think people here would really like to see it.

This is some of the more satisfying movie news in a while. I always ask myself how one can screw up films like Halloween, A Nightmare on Elmstreet or Friday the 13th and they always seem too find a way.

This will be great !

I heard Tarantino was doing the newest Friday the 13th. I would be way more likely to go see that. Taranatino has a definite movie style. Plus he has actual talent for storytelling.

Rob Zombie gets on my nerves with his arrogant shock value appeal. The devils rejects was a 'woe is me...im a serial killer. I kill people and it sometimes really makes me sad' flick and it was ignorant. All zombie does is try to be steal all hoopers' TCM thunder. It's been done before....and it was best the first time only.
