Couple of pieces of hopefully constructive criticisms. I tried listening to some files but as uncompressed wav it is taking too long to download. It might help to have both wav and a compressed file so a person can at least get a flavor of what they might want to hear after full download. Save you lots of wasted bandwidth too.

Secondly, this posting will probably get more responses in the jobs section.

Lastly, since mermaids don't have legs, they can't waltz...

Cheers

I get around 2000 kbps but a 27MB file does not stream. In fact it took about 5 minutes to download. If this is unusual then it's news to me.

Either way it was just a suggestion. There are plenty out there who have even worse connections then I that might not wait for such a big download to listen.

I guess if we want to take mermaids into some "fantasy" world, they could waltz

Cheers

Yeah a 160 or 192kbps mp3 will suffice. There's no need to have full waves uploaded. It takes up room on your server, eats up bandwidth, and annoys the end user.

Finished some downloads and took a listen; nice stuff. You really should post in the jobs sections. That is where people go to search for your services.

Good luck

I apologize if any of you have had trouble listening to the tracks...

I have no problem just left clicking on the link and having the song play right away on my media player, and I have done this on many computers with hi-speed cable modems and the media player only takes a few seconds to connect, buffer, and then play the track.

If you cannot play the file with a left click and have to right click to download the file in order to listen, then follow these instructions:

1.
On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the File types tab.
2.
Clear the WAV file (wav) check box, and then click Apply.
3.
Select the WAV file (wav) check box, and then click OK.

The problem in my case Cool, is that I am on dial up as are others on this board. A 28meg file takes several hours to download on my connection. You keep talking about hi-speed and settings, it's not my settings I cannot get hi-speed so not matter what my settings, I will always have a problem with big files. Sorry you don't like mp3's, I love them as does a huge section of the worlds population. Uploading .wav files pretty much ended on the net about 5+ years ago. Just my opinion but someone that is trying to get a customer should listen to what the potential customer is saying. We have better things to do that download huge files when there is a perfect alternative out there. Hey it's your files you can do what you want but as for me... It's mp3. No ill will, but you don't seem to be getting the point.

i "waisted" 10 minutes to download your files
make you mp-3 option for not normal people like me
eventually people dont hire you because the full resolution but for the" feel "
no one cares if the samples are 192 mp or 24/192

Cryo,

twelve to one data compression of the mp3 format. I know that I will lose many potential customers because of this, but I don't care. I don't want my music butchered. If this is selfish on my part, then I plead guilty as charged.
that is one ridicules sentences i heard allot in my life .
something that will not bring any clients , people like flexibility not hard arrogant rules
sorry with that attitude you will not survive in that business
