The Century Optics .8x wide angle converter

I have used it before. My first impression was that it didn't look as wide as I had expected. 0.8x lens length isn't a very dramatic difference.

It looked nice, but if you want something pretty wide-angle without looking like a fish-eye lens, I'd go with something more drastic than a 0.8x converter. I think there's a 0.6x wide angle for the DVX, but don't hold me to that.
 
master 151 is correct there is a 0.6x by Century for the DVX. I have one and it works great! If you do some searches in the threads you'll see people back up its quality.
 
so lesser the number, the wider.

so the .6 is wider then both the .7 and the .8?

never really understood that. probably a noob question. and i apologize.

im just lookin to shoot something with a nice wide angle look with the least fish eye distortion.
