Hey, im not sure how to describe this. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to get this. I want there to be a scene then i want a paddle to swing across the scene and then the credits follow the paddle. Then every time is switches the names on the credits i want the paddle to sweep across. Sorry if this doesnt make any sense.
 
I'm assuming you mean a boat paddle? One way of going about it would be to the shoot the paddle going back and forth a few times on a green screen, then composite over your text stuff, then just "wipe" away your footage when the paddle crosses over. Add some motion blur, etc. to make it look more smooth.
 
the method mentioned above is a good one. basically your just going to use your paddle as a reveal, and use a layer mask to unhide the text/credits/titles as the paddles goes over the scene. compositing the paddle in would be a good way to be able to revlale the tex when it is still behind the paddle in its ransition acrossed the screen so that it will appear to be unvieled by the paddle motion.
 
Okay, you definitely need to upload this "Paddle Of Doom" deal onto here. I need to see it.

By the way, if it was a different project, how did the big action movie with all the crazy effects work out?
