Procamp effect in AE

[KirikaPhoenix]

I found the ProcAmp effect in Premiere Pro extremely useful for transitional flashes when doing game videos. Specifically upping the contrast to about 200% to do a sorta overbright-white effect (takes the bright part of the image and makes it even more so)

I'd love to be able to do this as well in AE but so far i've had no luck I've tried something similar using levels but its just not the same. Contrast doesn't do the job either.

Is there any combination of standard plugins or a downloadable one that I can use to get the same effect in AE ?

Sapphire plugins by genarts have some interesting effects like this. You could also try using a 32 bit color space so your light values are more organic and natural. If you're running 7.0 no problem it handles 32 bit natively, if 6.5, get eLin by red giant (its free).
