Famous Movie Quotes Matchup

Hey guys, I made a quick stop motion animation movie using Legos for a different film contest a month or so ago. Turns out that part of the rules was it had to be live action, so I shelved the film to complete later when things die down. The film theme was famous movie moments, and probably 90% of my clips featured famous movie lines. I wanted to see what people think famous movies lines are, and see if any of them matched the film.

So, everyone gimmie some famous movie quotes, and I'll let you know if they were in the film or not. I'll post the film when it's finished, no matter how bad it is:) But at least Lego actors work really cheap and take direction pretty well...

- Here's lookin' at you kid

- May the Force be with you

- I'm ready for my close up

- I'm going to make him an offer he can't refuse

- Keep your friends close but your enemies closer.

"you see that? That's what you get in my house for spilling paint on the garage floor."

"What the f*ck are robster craws?"

"It's in the basement of the alamo."

"I want you to hit me as hard as you can."

"Dave...Dave...what are you doing Dave..."

"Don't worry, the fall will probably kill you."

We've got a few matches so far! Thanks, at least I know I was on the right track. I used the Here's looking at you kid, I'm gonna make him an offer he can't refuse, and the Dave, Dave line, although I used the I'm sorry, Dave, I can't do that line.

Sweet!

I wanted to do May the Force Be With You, but I'm too much of a Star Wars geek and want to do a whole segment with just Star Wars as a later project.
Was anyone else at the Star Wars Celebration in Indianapolis last year?

Now that all of the Batman Legos are available, you need a reason to buy them...

-'Wanna get nuts? Let's get nuts!'
-'Where does he get those wonderful toys?'
-'Have you ever danced with the devil by the pale moon light?'
-'Mistletoe can be deadly if you eat it. A kiss can be even deadlier if you mean it.'

"Frankly Dear, I don't give a Damn"
"WHAT? Snakes on the Plane"
"Royal with Chese"
Bondock Saints Prayer
"Your my boy Blue, Your my Boy"
"The snozberrys taest like Snozberrys"

"Say hello to my little friend"

"Just when i thought i made it out...they pull me back in"

"I coulda been a contender"

"Say it ain't so Joe, say it ain't so" - (is this in a movie? Bugs Bunny used it all the time...)

Here's a smattering of lines I think most everyone will recognize:

"I love the smell of napalm in the morning. ... Smelled like... victory."

"Chew, if only you could see what I've seen with your eyes"

"You aren't too bright. I like that in a man."

"Beulah, peel me a grape."

"It's not the men in your life that counts, it's the life in your men."

"Of all the gin joints, in all the towns, in all the world, she had to walk into mine."

"I'm shocked, shocked to find that gambling is going on in here!"

"What we've got here is... failure to communicate."

"You're out of order! You're out of order! The whole trial is out of order!"

"You can't handle the truth."

We have a few more matches of " I love the smell of Napalm in the morning" and You can't handle the truth!

Some others I had were the fava beans line from Silence of the Lambs and a line from Aliens.

If all I wanted to do was find movie quotes, I would have done a "noob" search. But I wanted to see if people thought what I used agreed with their ideas of a famous movie quote and get some more dicussion generated.

That whole thread I pointed you to was about movie lines that when you hear them you can identify the film it came from. I'm just saying, this thread is redundant and in the words of Yogi Berra (who my dog is named after), "Like De Ja Vu all over again"

I just did a search for "Move Quotes That Match The Stop Motion Movie I Made", and nothing came up. Luckily, I started a thread about it....

What's getting redundant to me is the noob bashing I'm seeing on this forum. There's 2 or 3 instances of it in this thread alone. I thought the point of this place was to discuss film and film-making. How can people do this if eventually all we do is point them to the search feature? I'm sure there were threads out there about movie quotes, but not from my angle and what I wanted to personally find out. If you find the thread redundant, I apologize, but maybe someone didn't and wanted to comment. If it's redundant to you, and if a standard noob question is posted, I'm sure it will eventually die out and not last long if other people post a link to a similiar topic; just as I'm sure this thread will die out soon.

the point everyone was trying to make is that there is already a thread with a lot of famous movie quotes in it. go through those and see if they match up to your film... there is no reason to keep this thread going or to make us repost all 1500 or so of them just for your personal shits and giggles.
