Indie Snap! HD Matte Box Reveiw

Can the dude who ordered a matte box today [Joseph] please PM me.

Mail is bouncing back and I need more info....

Cheers

Gang, I can't stress enough how important it is I can contact you when you order - It's critical.

Sometimes folks use an old or dead email account for PayPal and that leaves me with no way to track you cats down. :(

Unfortunately, that means if I'm missing info an order will sit until I finally get an email asking "where is my matte box?"

PLEASE - If you do not hear from me in 24 hours, contact me......

If you ordered a matte box last week and have not received an email from me please check your mail or spam folder.

[The account you use for PayPal]

Having a tuff time gettin' hold of ya.

Cheers

when will the sale end?

It's good for a couple weeks at least - Hopefully longer.

Whenever I get a break from a supplier, I pass it on to you cats @ DVXuser :)

I'll keep the $269 price as long as doable.

thats all i was looking for, but how would it work with a 35mm lens, for example, this one:

I use it with my M2, but I don't like it. It's the worst purchase I've made for my HVX, and I can't wait to replace it. I don't like the weight on my lens. Most still camera lenses move in and out when adjusting the focus. the weight seems to bind the focus ring a little. I would suggest using a rod mounted mattebox. But I you do decide to go with it, make sure your M2 is hard mounted. That way the extra weight won't pull your M2 away from the camera. That's what I had to do to solve that problem.

So the indiesnap CANNOT be rail mounted? It mounts to the 35mm lens? Thats wierd!!

The www.HysonFilms.com mattebox is rail mounted, and the 35mm lens go through the mattebox, no weight on the stock lens or the M2 at all.
