yep static... through a bunch of ideas together and read some tutorials on here... i will post a tuturial 2nite after i get home along w/ the pix of it and all the lenses, my first round of filming the light outside changed constantly bc of partly cloudy sooo i had to keep messin w/ the aperture, also i had some dirt on the lenses and on the macros soo i will clean everything and post some clean tests tomrrow

I hope that's NOT what it looks like......an Asian Macro? I'm sure it's not.......just kinda looks like one.

price less than 150 bux i will post the break down and full pricing later (that was including shipping) selling.. not sure yet

When you start doing some serious testing with your adapter, you will notice that you're getting some chromatic aberrations in bright light and that your edges are soft. The cause of that will be the Asian Macro. To get rid of the aberations and get sharp edges, you need to use a achromatic diopter (century optics +7) and trash the Asian macro. Easy to do with minimal change to your existing adapter.

I second that thought. It makes a huuuuge difference.

2 +10's? Wow! I tested out a +10 with a +4 and the aberations were discusting. I'm not sure why you are using 2 +10's unless your distance from macros to gg is really short, but you can use just 1 CO+7 if you put about 4.5" between diopter and gg.

i had to blow it up slightly bc its a screen capture from fcp at 50% int he editor window...

You see that ugly blue line bleeding off the right side of the res chart? That's chromatic aberration, and you'll see it all over your footage if you use the Asian macros. Getting an achromatic diopter (macro, closeup lens, whatever you want to call it) will cut down that CA immensely. Adding distance between that achromat and the GG will give you the magnification you need. It will make a much better image to do it that way, though the image you are getting isn't bad. The screen grab at the top looks fine. Your footage is a bit grainy. Would probably look better with more light.
