A Love Song for Bobby Long

[mrpunch]

Anyone seen this movie? I Netflix'd it recently. Can't believe I hadn't heard of it. Scarlett Johansson is in it - which I have to admit is why I wanted to see it - But, I absolutely loved the script and was surprised that I hadn't heard about it before. John Travolta and Gabriel Macht round out the 3 main characters.

Highly recommended!

Favorite line from the movie: "See what is invisible and you will see what to write"

Yeah, I seen it. I wanted to like this movie more than I did though. Had it's moments, but I didn't think they took it as far they could have. I'm a big fan of people kinda wasting away, especially writers, but I guess the ending wasn't as satisfying as I wanted it to be. Looked real purty and I think Gabriel Macht should be working more than he is. Can't really put my finger on it because the concept and acting weren't the problem. Just kinda missed for me...
