Oh wait; the oil companies dont want this

No doubt... you can be sure this technology will run into every obstacle possible coming to market.

What they need to do is find investors (like Paul allen of Microsoft, he's into stuff like that) and design their own automobile company, completely independent of other automakers. If they start fresh then they won't have to deal with the red tape, bs, and corruption larger automakers consist of. Current automakers have no interest in this product because they are still making profits off current models. Why fix something that ain't broke. This man and his machine would be better off starting their own company and being independent. Other automakers will drag this out for as long as they can, to help themselves and to help their partners in bed (the oil industry).

The problem thus far with water for fuel is it takes more energy to create the split then can be harvested from the hydrogen.

People have been pulling this con for years. It's called the Black Box scam. You hide a power source in the black box that compensates for the difference and then during your demonstration the observers only see the portion of the power draw you show them. The "black box" is of course a a secret and after you invest the process no longer produces a positive output.

Same idea was used for the cold fussion scam back in the 80's.

Fuel cells will probably be the next way we power our cars but they need a source of hydrogen which must be produce electricaly from traditional fossil fuel sources or a renewable electical energy source (wind, geothermal, nuclear, solar, or hydroelectric).

Cheers

I'm sure once he's done with RED our good friend Mr. Jannard will get going on the water powered cars. Heck, maybe RED is water powered. Maybe it even records on WATER!!
