Hello fellow DVX'ers, it has just dawned upon me, that I have actually forgotten to mention the recent outcome of my Formal Debate over the internet on a particular disscussion Board. I did not want to start yet another thread, however I felt this personal news of acclaim was worthy of its own thread.
As you guys n gals may be aware of my views towards evolution (if my signature did not give it away , well...)
So Anyhow, Many many months ago, whilst I was blissfully wondering through the internet I happen to stumble upon an Pro-Evolutionist forum, and after reading some posts, well you know me I just can not stop my self...
To cut a long story short, I posted some challenges that they failed to resolve, and eventualy someone said (now I'm going to describe the rest in laymen terms)
It when something like, this:
a guy said:
"oi mate, you seem to think your the dogs B*llocks, so why don't ya take up my FORMAL challenge away from this here chitta chatta room, or are ya yella??"
So I said "hell yea, any place, any time, bring the sh*t on"
So he was like ok, then we agreed upon formal guidelines and then set the date for the rumble in the Jungle,
THEN..... GUESS WHAT
the dude does not turn up ?!!!!, so like I say what happened , it turns out that he "Self-Banned" himself, since he was like a mod or something he had the power to kill himself of the board just days before he was ment to do the debate with me.
So ok, I thought whats going, on, THEN before I could say anything some other person (a woman Scientist, according to here profile, PHd in neuro-something) got up and said she wanted to take his place, and wanted the debate to carry on, but she wanted to change some of the agreement, but i was like
"naa if ya gonna pick, up from him, then you gotta pick where he left off", she was like "na i want it this way"
so in the end we had a comprimise,
so then the debate happened,
I went first, then after HER deadline had past she got a formal warning and used up one of her grace period, then like she posted what looked like to me a very rushed hack job of a response, I mean my first post was near 2K , her response was like less than half a page!
anyways WITHIN two DAYS i made my response, it was also near 2K, I slapped the sh*t out of the response, THEN I waited for the counter, and waited, and waited, THEN eventually, the Dealine past, THEN the garce period of 48 hours was given, THAT TOO Past and it was declared that she forfitted, I won, whhoooooo, now of course, people have been dissin' me left right and centre, but like to me, thats just childish, guess its what kids do when they have no come back they start beating you up instead.
So anyway thats whats happened, if anyones wants the entire transcript, of the event I have it in PDF form just drop me PM and I'll email it.
