EMW lav w/XLR + G2 plug-in xmitter?

Good morning all,

I have a DVX100B and the EW100 G2 Eng wireless kit and I'm planning on acquiring a Countryman EMW lav with the hardwired XLR connection (for direct connection to the DVX).

Ideally I'd like to be able to use it with the wireless system as well. The EMW requires 5-48v phantom and I don't see any indication that the G2 plug-on xmitter provides phantom. Has anyone done this sort of thing successfully?

im planning on using sankens and B6s in similar ways soon. you should get minijack breakins plut into the line after the mic, but before the xlr plug. make sure a pro store does this so that the wiring in the breakin will work with the G2 - then you can use the transmitter body pack with the emw, and not have to work with the long cable and xlr barrely.

the g2 bodypack doesnt do phantom, and only the skp500 plug on transmitter does phantom - the skp100 version doesnt.
 
cool, just basically a locking minijack female and male that you connect when using the system hardwired.
