Hi there in hyperspace

Looking for a remote to put on the Fig Rig with the HVX.
Anybody have any experience good or bad with either of the following?

BEBOB ZOE DVX OR MANFROTTO - BOGEN 521P.

I'd like to hear from you.

Kind regards

I've got the Manfotto 521P, angled in slightly and mounted just under the RHS bracket. Works a treat. Precise and smooth zoom, and pressure sensitive, so the harder you press the 'flipper' the faster the zoom goes.

Also just fitted a Foxi on the LHS, mounted just under the bracket. Your thumb and first finger (or just thumb for subtle adjustments) rotates the focus with no problem, and can also easily access the Iris conveyor-belt which is facing my camera. Even just having an auto/manual focus button is great if you're shooting with the 'Rig, as I found if I drop my arms after a shot for a rest then the auto-fucus invariably wanders off somewhere and then has a lovely hunt time when you start shooting again. Switching to manual when resting would save this while still having both hands on the 'Rig.

I now feel far more in control of my HVX, and not having to rely on autofocus for moving footage is a godsend.

Thanks for that summary, still undecided, however!
My pocket leans towards the Manfrotto but my Mind leans towards the Zoe.

Kind regards
