Nice!!!

I especially like the last four -- though the two "aerial" ski shots could use some cropping.

I'm thinking vertically... isolate the skier on a corner -- the right corner -- and maybe you wouldn't even have to show the trees, just a big expense of blue beneath the dude... retains the "airborne" feeling and might make the action more dynamic....

And are those white specs snow? I thought at first they were stars in the sky... I'd photoshop them out and make the blue even crisper...

just a few suggestions...

yup, the white specs is just snow. I'll mess around with cropping them also. Thanks for the feedback.

Very nice shots. I just got the Nikon D50 as well, although I haven't taken any pictures that are worth sharing yet.

Are you using the stock lens?

well, I just use a standard tamron lens that I had on my film cam. It's not a nice lens, but it's not junk. I'm not sure what lens comes standard on the D50, I guess it depends on where you buy it from. I just bought the body and a 300mm telephoto to go with it.
