i think it will be great for the adobe suite.
any comments?????
 
dell right? should be okay...heck 3.0GHz a little more than okay. what else do you have with it?

I run a system with a 3.0 gHz processor and 1 gig of RAM (I'm getting 2 soon). it works fine with Production Suite, especially after I did the optimizations recomended here:

they will make your computer extremely fast

I'm assuming you have SATA drives? and another thing... if you're doing any heavy After Effects rendering it's a good idea to link your NLE computer to an old computer to use the extra processing power to do the rendering. works like a charm.

thats the drive i got with it.
i have 600gb external too.
 
Check to see if you can connect more SATA drives. I have 4 drives going and nearly 1,000 GB of storage. So much room that I put an extra bathroom in my H drive. Now a fridge in my G drive I wont leave my computer for anything.
