I tried this once. It didn't work.

I used a gitzo aluminum pole last night on set, and I agree that it was very well made and sturdy. My only complaint is that it was a tad on the heavy side, but then again, it *was* aluminum and not carbon or graphite. I have heard great stuff about k-tek.

Well boompole one of the last things I need to buy. Since my budget there is 250, may as well spend it on best possible pole can get for that price. Realiable, weight, length.

Instead of going into detail of why, which I like to explain myself, I'll just say Carbon Fiber, if can afford why not get? Gitzo is very realiable K-Tek may have internal cableing but bleh a luxary I can live without. AND LENGTH... 9" may be fine but if can go 12.5", more length never ever ever hurt in boompole land.

So Here's my choice:

Gitzo 7680C

And can call EVS and get a discount making it same price nearly, but I guess I'm asking for confirmation. Seems no brainer choice at my price range (250 is stretching it actually, but can do it). AND also, it should fit the KSSM shockmount correct?
