which setting to use for 24P? 23.976 (ITVC) or 24 (FILM)?

Quick question about the right setting in Vegas 6.0d.

There seems to be a new choice (maybe I just didn't see it before) when you a starting a 24P project. I'm importing stuff shot at 24P - scene setting 6 on the DVX100A, and Vegas offers these 2 rates to use -

23.976 (ITVC) or 24 (film)

Can someone tell me the differnce, and which is the better one to use?
