Ok...Photoshop Gods...Do your stuff.

just mix and match one from list A and one from list B :cheesy:

A
Narrow
Thin
Fine
Slim
Slender
Skinny
Slight
Tapered
Constricted

B
Road
Street
Highway
Thoroughfare
Boulevard
Avenue
Path
Way
Artery
Route

I think "Constricted Artery" is a great name for a production company and means the exact asme thing as "Narrow Road"

Rats on the company name Ive only dreamed of having since 1994. I need a few days to come up with something else.

WOW, Jack, thanks for throwing me into the mix with Welles & Tarantino! :) As badly as I'd like to have been in this Hero Fest, I just couldn't risk it. Even working B/Steadycam the first weekend took too much away from directing, and some things were missed.

Funny that Larry R's not chimed in here yet. Even funnier that everyone's coming to his rescue, but cool at the same time.

For my company's name, I know there are TONS of Envision Entertainment's out there. Legally, what it comes down to is registration per state that the person's doing business in. So while someone can have an Envision Entertainment LLC in Oregon or any other state, they can't do it in Washington, where I've registered.

My goal is that Envision Entertainment gets well known enough & large enough that others would think twice about using the name ... like a Warner Bros., Universal, etc. Yeah, I think that big.

However, this particular board is small enough (in a tight nit family sort of way), that it would be preferable for people to have unique business names/logos, etc.

Thin Line Productions
Straight Path Productions
Narrow Path Productions

JDaniels, I've got an idea of why you'd choose Narrow Road in the first place, but I'd like to hear it from you. If you can give me the meaning behind what you'd like to convey, I can probably help with some names. Feel free to PM, if you don't feel comfortable posting it here.

Hopefully he's fixing my computer.

I kid, I kid.

Why is it that everything I read a post by Norm I feel inspired? :)

and forgive this...who is Larry Rutledge?
:furious3: Who ISN'T Larry Rutledge is the better question!!!
JDaniels - all I can say is....:banned: :nads: J/K I have been using Narrow Road Entertainment (and the abbreviated NRE Studios) for a couple years now, but I certainly haven't cornered the market (a la Warner Brothers, Disney, etc, etc).

Yes, JDS, Narrow Road (at least for me) was chosen for "churchy" reasons, though I usually talk about it different terms. I am a Christian and want everything in my life to reflect my beliefs. The choice of Narrow Road is to speak about the focused path of my life - though some would mis-interpret that to mean "narrow minded", the reality is there is freedom in maintaining a chosen path and sticking to it.

I'll stop there, so this doesn't go from a "make me a logo" thread to a "religious" thread.

I did a quick google and found there are several "Narrow Road Productions", but I appear to be the only "Narrow Road Entertainment". There is a musical group called "Narrow Road" and there was a film made called "The Narrow Road" (though I've never heard the group nor seen the movie).

Just don't use a logo that looks like this:
NarrowRoad.gif

and we won't have to resort to fighting.

And, yes, TC I was working on your computer, though I had to stop due to a massive allergy attack...I didn't think you would appreciate a mass of post nasal drip and sneezing all in the innards of your computer

Peace all!!
Larry Rutledge
King and Ruler of Narrow Road Entertainment (I kid, I kid)

Bah -- don't fret. Here you go! If Larry doesn't respond within the next 30 seconds we'll assume these are substantially different enough to avoid infringement.

Thanks Larry. It must feel good to know the Lads here at DVX have your back...Pirahnas have nothing on these guys. I felt like this for a few posts to my thread:nads: (the yellow smile is me)
Me too...I also want people to know that the fast easy wide road is not the best way to God. I will end this discussion here.

I still am leaning towards Narrow Road Productions here in Louisiana, but in the interest of solidarity, I will bow to the reigning king of Narrow Road. All hail Larry Rutledge!!!

I didn't mean to make fun.
I'm from a Southern Baptist upbringing and did mission trips in Mexico and the Blue Ridge Mounts.
But I'm not so religious anynmore (but I believe in God)
I just thought it was cute that you and Norm were talking in Church code.

Did you guys see the video msconce posted in the grabs section that illustrates the Narrow Road verse? He has the screen split screen with slomo on one side and timelapse on the other. Its a pretty simple and effective little clip.
