I have a dvx 100A . when I shoot indoors, no matter how I light a subject I always get a grainy picture. My setitngs are 24p advanced, medium gain, white balance, wide appeture and slow shutter, and I have a basic light kit from B&H- WHAT AM I DOING WRONG.

or

Is there a how to "light for indoors" out there- I cant seem to find one

If you could help me out it would be a life saver

Clarify exactly what you mean with "medium gain". What is the GAIN switch set at?
If you are using ANY gain, you will get grain: gain = grain!

On further examination of your post, I am now even thinking you might either: 1) have the cam's ND filter ON 1/64 or 1/8 (it would need to be set to OFF), or 2) you have an ND filter screwed on the lens. Is any of that true?
