Looks pretty good! Having an achromat is much nicer than a cheap macro. I did something similar with my setup, in that I busted the glass out of one of my macros (a +1) and used it as part of my adapter. Works well enough.

Yea, Century vs. Asian. Is like Tank Abbot vs. a poodle. Footage looks good. Curious about the GG as well... seems to produce a diffent syle of Boken. Vignetting as you said in the thread in your link. Are you using a condenser?

my GG is optosigma, which gets a lot of flack from some here. it's the only one i've tried so far. maybe once i sort out the vignette issue, i'll start playing with different GG options....
