Charge for dubbing from DV to DVD?

Hey guys,

I've been asked to dub a bunch of DV tapes to DVD - No editing, no complex menu, simple noise reduction, and label design via LightScribe.

Anyone have a recommendation for how much I should charge? per hour? Per tape? I honestly don't know what price range I should be looking at here.

Price varies based on area in my experience. For example, the cost for this might be $500 in LA and $250 in Virginia. What I would reccomend is to google "Dv to DVD" (insert a local city here). Keep the quotes for better searching.

Another thing you might try is to call these places yourself and ask for a quote. You don't have to tell them you are getting prices for your own work.

Bascially, find out what others are charging then price yourself competitivley. Once you get more consistent business, bump it up.
