"Ice Harvest" with John Cusack. This was bad from the beginning all the way until Oliver Platt showed up in the back seat of the Benz. I watched with one eyebrow hitched up as in "I cant believe I've wasted $3.99 and 90 minutes of my day."

Man did he ever go down hill after "Better Off Dead"

are you serious? this movie is hilarious lol it's really dark comedy

I guess I feel your pain though, I rented a movie called "shiri" yesterday based on a recommendation of some friends and it was terrible.

i thought Ice Harvest was entertaining... it wasnt the greatest comedy ever but there were parts i was laughing my ass of at... just my opinion though

I am a fan of dark comedy...when it's funny. But for the life of me, where was the funny in this flick?

Downhill since Better Off Dead ($ Two dollars!)

Huh ?

Practically every roll since has been killer Cusack work.

The Grifters, Bullets Over Broadway, Being John Malkovich, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, Eight Men Out, Shadows and Fog, etcetera, etcetera.

Yeah, I love John Cusack. He is definitely one of my all time favs.

"The Ice Harvest"...not 4 stars, but I think it was definitely entertaining and worth the watch. In my opinion, there were some really funny moments. And nobody plays a drunk better than Oliver Platt.

iDENTITY is solid; I did not see the end coming; genius.

Loved it.

In fact; one of my top horror/thrillers

Except the end came too soon!!!!!!! The reveal, I mean. From that point on, I was like: "Hmm, okay, why am I watching this now?" Although, I do dig some of Mangold's other work, Like Heavy and Cop Land.

Sorry to hijack this thread but, desperatecomfort, you ever take the Hudson line Metro train? About 2 or 3 weeks ago, I swore I saw a guy get on the train, with a good amount of gear in tow, that looked exactly like you in your avatar. I almost pointed and said, "dvxuser.com?" I didn't. I figured if it wasn't you, the guy probably would have maced me.

I just looked on IMDB... he was in Stand By Me. I never knew that.

Yeah, he played Wil Wheaton's dead older brother in a flashback.

Personally, I think he is one of the best actors in Hollywood. He's funny, self-effacing, confident and versatile. He has stood toe to toe with Malkovich, Hoffman, Huston, Cage, Spacey, Thornton, Robbins and Pacino. The thing I love about him is that he never seems to care about getting credit, or outdoing his co-stars. He is all about making the movie as good as it can be.

I'd take one of him him over a box of Cruise, Pitt, and Reeves and anyday.

Nah, I have the coolest gear-mobile on earth, the Honda Element.

Man, I came so close to picking one of those up a few months ago. I test drove a couple of them. Plus Larry and Barry Green gave their ELEMENTS great reviews. But, I opted for the CR-V. Its still in the same family and is way cool.
