lens adapter stuck on dvc30 lens

i just tried puting my new raynox wide angle on my new dvc30 and when i tried to take it off the 43-52 lens adapter wouldnt come off the camera.. and still wont :-/ i cant get it off and reallllyyy dont want to ruin the camera seeing as i got it yesterday lol
any suggestions?
 
Put electrical tape on the ends of a pair of plyers, so that you don't scratch the paint off. Be gentle!!
