I love your FF. I worked on building the gearbox myself (which is a pain, I can tell you). Remember, not all lenses have the same barrel size. If you drilled one gear, it might not work on all lenses of different brands, I found that out the hard way.

Not unless you rig the way I have it (i'll post pics, soon). Yes the gear box was very hard to make one, after I did it barely worked.
Not in this shape, I'm going to redesign the case and a few other things. Then it should be ready. I definitely couldn't sell it like this, people would laugh. So as soon as I get some time, I'm going to fabricate a enclosure and a rail system for it. I'm hoping to keep the price low, this all depends on if I can work out a deal with the company.
I use a Indi Focus FF system and am interested in swapping out the foam wheel with a gear wheel and I think your system has given me some additional ideas.
Question: the gear wheel that you used a Hole Saw to cut out the center, will that fit the Canon FD 35mm lenses? I use all Canon FD 35mm lenses with a LETUS Flip.
So, if I can adapt that gear to fit on Canon FD 35mm lenses, I might be on to a cool adjustment to the Indi Follow Focus.
Here is the big gear I used. Yes I used a whole saw to hollow out the gear. I have improved the big 70T gear to fit almost all size lenses, I'll have to take a picture.
I've been so busy with a few MVs and commercials, I really haven't had time to tinker with any projects. I'm on a busy trip at the moment, as soon as I get back I've got tons of stuff I've made to share!
Here are a few new pics of the FFF with a wheel, marking board and a little ghetto arrow. I'm going to shoot some footage tomorrow and try and post it in a day or so, and YES IT'S VERY SMOOTH!!!
