How'd you guys do on the SATs?

Just wondering. I've started studying for them. Did horrible on the PSATs so i'm not optimistic
 
We take the ACT in this area (I don't know why, but most of the colleges go by that here). I never took the SAT. I got a 30 on the ACT (out of 36).
 
Got a 1340 overall...I did poorly on my PSAT's too...guess I'm more of a "game-day" player...good luck!
 
1470. Took it twice and got the exact same score, so I decided to save money and quit taking it. Okay actually I decided I'd rather sleep in on Saturdays. Some people I went to high school with got obsessive and took it every single time it was offered!
 
800 Verbal, 590 Math :(

I think I remember hearing that most students see a 10% increase in their score from PSAT to SAT...

Don't psyche yourself into thinking that you can't help yourself by studying! Get one of those test prep books/classes/tutors/sample tests
 
Never took em. Went to community college, got my AA, transfered to a four year school and got my BFA.
 
I dont remember. I think they had just come out with standardized testing when I was in Jr High. I feel REALLY old right now. :dankk2: :crybaby:
 
I think I got a 1240, no studying, no preparing, nothing. Just walked in one Saturday morning because my teachers said it "was the right thing to do".
 
Yeah 1400+ or something. Enough to get accepted to Carnegie-Mellon, anyway.

But not enough to get someone else to pay for it, so I wound up going to college with Bruce Willis, instead. :violin:
 
1510 (800 verbal / 710 math)... Only thing other than my ability to hit a fastball that got me into college, my GPA in highschool was a 2.1 (but that was because I was more concerned with other things at the time).

I took the PSAT in the fall...i did reallyyy bad...since they changed the scoring now from 1600 to 2400

I got a 1400...YIKES!!!

Come after this summer...im getting signed up for a SAT prep class and getting books on the SAT..ACT..and HSPA

...my rents want me to take the SAT and ACT..cuz the ACT doesnt have as much math as the SAT and I suck at math.

HSPA....easy as pie from what people told me..:thumbsup:
