Optics Fisheye out for the HVX200 yet?

If yes, could I please have a link?

Thank you,

Zan

Hello, Bill Turner , Century Division, Schneider Optics here.

At NAB we introduced the fisheye made specifically for the HVX200 (stk nbr HD-FESU-HVX) which is $595 list price. It is stunning with good performance edge to edge and is relatively compact and light weight.

LowDown is correct that the XtremeFisheye (which is $3350) can be adapted to the HVX200 with breathtaking results but it is requires a 15mm support system due to its size and weight.

The new HD fisheye for the HVX200 is in stock in limited quantities and shipping to our partners around the world.

bill,

is there any vignetting w/ the xtreme fisheye? if it works w/ the hvx, why isn't it in the hvx products section? any compromises using it w/ the hvx as compared to the sony z1? thanks.

How limited is the stk nbr HD-FESU-HVX (599)? Let's say I'm planning to shoot an extreme video in 5 months from now... would the fisheye still be there?

boo: there is some very minor vignetting at the corners of underscan, barely noticeable on transmitted. The interface for the back of the Xtreme Fisheye to the HVX200 is not yet in stock. Estimated availability 30-60 days. Personally I think it looks better on the HVX200 than the Z1 but it looks great on either camera.

Zanuck: The limited availability should be for the next month or so as we fill back orders and get production up to speed. I would not anticipate a problem 5 months from now, but I would urge you to check again 60 days prior to your actual need. There is always the possibility of a shortage due to manufacturing problems with exotic glass elements and/or backorders because demand is exceeding supply.

If it's not too much trouble, it would be nice to have JPEG still images using the different adapters and one without. That way, we could see how the the Xtreme Fisheye to the HVX200 looks. (As well as the other adapters.)

great idea bob. would like to see stills of the xtreme fisheye as well as the super fisheye adaptor.
