HVX & Letus 35 Flip Clip SPEED HOLES

Thanks,
Ya, that was our first day of shooting and I didn't calibrate in full scan mode so the adaptor is apparent on one of the cameras. It's out side the TV safe zone, even on 16:9 sets and we've resolved the problem in our subsequent shoot days.

You didnt post if you CC'ed it at all because if you didnt, then the black are really really crushed, and at t hat amount of light outside to get such a dark picture, maybe it was the look your going for but the only thing that goes in my mind is the quality of light loss from the adapter.

Seems like the edge softness is pretty noticable. I didn't appear to me that many of the shots benefited in any way from using a 35 adapter.

Hey guys, all good points, thanks for the feedback.
The LETUS Flip Enhanced loses 1.5 stops of light, so it's fine indoors if you have reasonably fast lenses and light sources.

The vingetting is acually from the cheap lense I used for that day of shooting (not anymore) and the sofness is due to the double compression the video endured on its way out.

We went into the field with out a lot of testing with these adaptors and it certainly was a learning experience. Hope my blunders can spare you all from making the same mistakes.

Thanks,
DD
