Noise in my HVX footage?

I finally got a hold of an HVX for the weekend to try it out.

Now, I KNOW I properly exposed this and that it's really well lit ... but I think I still see noise ...

Then again there's been so much talk about noise in the HVX that maybe I'm just imagining it ... Do you guys see the noise in this grab or am I crazy?

I don't see any noise, but I've been looking for curtains with that pattern for years! Where'd you get 'em?

well OK .. so it's a little noisy I guess despite the excellent exposure and lighting ...
but I did love and was suprised by the HVX's small form factor
(here's a picture of the one I used)

this guy rented it to me for $500 for the weekend -- good deal huh?
I'm going to have to start saving to buy one of my own

Panasonic realized that the DVX "clunk" sound was coming from the old form factor. With the HVX they removed everything that wasn't needed and WALLA! you get the bite-size camera you're currently in possession of. :)

I prefer a camera with a little meat on her bones.

Awesome! It's like a scaled-down (waaaaaaay down...) version of the RED One. :)

Did you shoot this to P2 or did you stream it directly from the firewire port? Settings please. Post a scene file.

THX!

Careful with that camera Jack... this is another case of military tech that isn't ready for the civilian marketplace.
