So I finally catch a Pads game on TV up here and I see Bochy intentionally walk Kent with only ONE out, making it bases loaded with Garciaparra up to bat. What the hell was that?!? Kent's like 59 years old and Garciaparra's batting something like .659 with 6 dingers when faced with a bases loaded situation! And of course, Garciappara hits a pop fly allowing a tag up and two extra runs scored...

Man, I was wondering why my boys were in last place...until now. That was insulting.

Good thing I have my AL team (Angeles) to root for. I'm losing hope brother, save me.
 
How long has it been open? I've only been to it once. The park is great though man, I feel bad I don't make it down there as often.
 
Well, John, I just deleted the jpeg of a broom I almost posted in the 7th inning of today's game. Just narrowly missed making an ass of myself as the Pads came back with 5 runs in the 9th off our closer and won it in extra innings. Drats! How'd my Dodgers lose that one. Congrats on a win at home. :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)
 
Padres suck.

Every year I get hyped, and every year I get let down. What are they ? 9 - 15 now ? It's no secret when each and every off season they get rid of their best players.

I was telling my bro this weekend; we have no history in this club. They have never done anything so it is hard to be loyal. It's hard to be a fan of the Padres.

What can I say ? San Diego teams suck if they aint playing Soccer.

Do they really play baseball in the American League? I thought that was beer ball where they let broken down old timers hang on and just bat, perhaps it's where Bonds needs to be now. :evil:
 
If you told me last week the Pads would win 8 in a Row and climb from the cellar into 3rd; I'd would of said NUTS!

The Yankees have won 5 in a row, and we have a three game series in the Bronx against the Red Sox this week (sorry, not trying to steal your thunder).

The Padres are hot right now, and a good run might be all it takes to take the NL West. Hopefully they can just :nads: the rest of the division.

It's okay, John. You could be a Cubs fan. They've had some great players and still lost.
