What sort of system do you run?

I occasionally use Avid on a Mac at school, but only infrequently. If on a Mac (I try to avoid them), I'd rather use FCP.
 
i run a dual 2.0 g5 with some ram and a dell monitor. i find the dell monitors are a much better deal to the apple monitors and are definitely comparable if not better. but you're starting to find a lot more of final cut pro suites out there in the world. and its starting to be pretty much final cut or avid. premiere pro 2.0 is supposed to be pretty good but thats considered "low end" still, but from users of it i hear its a great improvement.
 
Main system: Running a Mac G5 Quad, 6.5gigs of ram, Kona with breakout, many drives, XRaid as main storage, Wacom 9x12 tablet, dual 20" cinemas, yada yada.

Then an assortment of other systems for playin around, itunes servers, email/web, etc from g4 ibook to g5 imac to G4 towers, etc etc etc
