How to set up ME66 in phantom power

I've been using my ME66 K6 mic with battery power ever since I bought it. But I know phantom power is probably better. There's a red switch on the power module. I wonder if that's the switch to turn on the phantom power mode? I switch the red thingy the other way, plugged the mic into my DVX100A with an XLR cable, but nothing happens. Anyway, I've never done this before. So can anyone here give me some advice on how to set up the phantom power with my ME66K6?
Thanks.

Open the LCD monitor on your DVX and look at the Input 1 and Input 2 settings on the side of your camera. There is a switch that toggles between on and off for +48v on both channels. Switch this to "on" for the channel that your mic is plugged into.
