im not goin soft or anything...but

on the Disney lot we have resident begger squirrels...they have been there forever i think...generations of them...the live on the lot and are treated with respect...fed daily by some peeps who work here...and of course by randome people with nuts.

they have no shame...just looking in their direction will cause them to run over and beg. a friend of mine kneeled down one time and one of them crawled up his leg and onto his chest...crazy little guys, but super cool.

here are some of them...i think they were a little nervous in front of the camera...

Yup, that was cute as heck.

We have big fat 'ol squirrels around here. There's two that come torture my dog every day. He will be hanging out on the back deck and they will sneak over and surprise him. He jumps up with a woof and starts flying down the steps. The problem is, the steps are made of this pressed plastic/wood and are a bit slippery. Then there's the right turn half way down the steps...

It actually a funny sound from inside:

1. Woof!
2. Scrabble scrabble of dog claws rushing over to steps
3. Scrabble scabble down the steps
4. SCRABBLE SCRABBLE THUD! Clunk! Sound of dog sliding wide at corner and into railing
5. Momentary silence
6. Slow scrabble scrabble of claws down the steps.

He never catches them.

Those squirrels must crack up everytime they do that to him.

:)

So your squirrel was named Foamy, huh? You SURE she didn't have rabies? ;-)

Dude, I've ALWAYS foamed at the mouth - you know that! :)

I love Ill Will and Foamy, sure! I'm not THE guy behind the company though. I did, however, name my squirrel after "Foamy." :)

Nice! :) Yeah, squirrels are pretty fascinating if you take the time to watch/interact with them. The "begger maneuver" always cripples me to surrendering a peanut! :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)
