Good Grain Removal for Premiere Pro?

[rawfa]

Hi,

Does Premiere Pro 2.0 come with any good grain removal effect on its' presets? I looked but didn't find any. If it doesn't come with any, which plugin would you recomend for getting rid of grain on premiere? I copied After Effects "Remove Grain" to the Premiere plugin folder but it didn't work.

I'd love to hear an answer for this question, also. I have a couple of low light clips in which I employed the DVX's gain. Both clips have a lot of noise, and maybe a "grain removal" effect could help.

I use neatimage (http://www.neatimage.com) for grain removal on still images on my DSLR. It was damn good as well. They now have an AFX and Premiere Pro plugin called Neatvideo for $100.

This product rocks when you get proper noise profiles for it. The website has a bunch for popular cameras alerady.

You can build your own profile by the pictures they have on the website.
