You got me, thats right. I should have mentioned "up to 27"".

But anyway: An external scaler would be perfect: Unfortunately a scaler/di that compares with the Faroudja-chipset (or is better) is 600 Euros and up! I know, strange, since the chipset can not cost more than maybe $40 (guess). But from all the reviews I've read and from what I've seen so far, cheap scalers/dis can't compare!

I don't want to spend an extra 600+. So I'm back with the Gateway... BTW: 720p is not what I am interested in. I'd rather go 1080i, even if it's just a tiny bit more resolution.
