Dropping $4500 on Gear Tonight!

Well, today is the day! I'm finaly ordering my DVX100B! Along with a few other items such as Tripod, etc. I am going to use B&H to buy the DVX from.
I have heard they are good. Am I right? Any advice?
Anything else I should get, or look out for?

Any last words before I do this baby!?
 
You better do it fast, B&H closes at midnight, tonight, for a week.

heh -- I know it's only once a year, but it always seems like my biggest B&H orders fall during Passover! ...nothing this year, but I can relate to your plight BergVision.

EVS is closer to you anyhow -- you'll likely save on shipping.
 
EVS gets things to you quickly. I ordered my camera from them and had it less than 48 hours after I hung up the phone. Impressive.
 
Ok, I about have my order completed. but I'm looking at getting a Zoom Control Unit also. Is the one from Libec any good? Which one for around $200 would you recomend?

yea get form EVS, you will save money too B&H tends to be a touch more expensive.

When i got my DVX, BH had it for 3599 i think, EVS had it fro 3399, plus DVxuser.com disount, which was 100$. Then i saved 300$ in taxes. ibought everythign from EVS after that.
 
Congrats....I was relieved to hear that you decided to go with a reputable dealer. I usually go with EVS anyway, unless they dont have something, or the price is alot less at BH. Great people, most of my orders (and we live in the same city) arrive in 3 days or so. Where abouts in PDX do you live? What do you do here? I am going to AI portland right now....
