Cheap Vest/Arm Camera stabilizer, which way to go?

I have been trying to get a camera stabilizer for ever and due to tight budget, I think any of these 2 will be the way to go. I have heard a lot about the smooth shooter but I noticed this other guy on ebay that has a vest and a arm for sale.
His product sells between $500 - $700 and with the Glidecam rid, probably about $900 buck for the whole thing which is still $500 bucks cheaper than the smooth shooter.
Taking the calculation analysis away, what about performance?. It seems the guy has some sales on ebay, but has anyone in here tried this product before? It is called the M516 Arm & Vest.

After watching their video I thought it performed better than I thought it would. Their arm and vest look pretty cheap though. Do they warranty the product? Also, it handles only 10 lbs., so if you start adding stuff onto the camera, will it still support the weight? Can it handle any additions such as a low-mode kit? I bought a V-16 that I'm extremely happy with, it's built really well, and it's from Glidecam, which is a reputable company with a warranty.

save your money up and buy the Smooth Shooter. It works great and is made by people who know what they are doing. You are going to be disappointed if you buy this M516, his video is a set up (the steadicam shots aren't any steadier than his buddy who is taping him) and they dont even know how to properly operate a vest and arm (his glidecam is facing the wrong way)

I would stay far away from the M516 after reading several posts on the hbs board (homebuilt stabilizers), save your money and get the Smooth Shooter.
