About a month after I turned 21, I went down to the local watering hole where we college types liked to hang on Tuesday nights. Not too much going on that night. The guy at the door asked for my ID, and I showed it to him. As I was walking away, he said "good job!"

Good job? For what?

Many years ago drinking age in Texas was 18. Had a 17yo co-worker. He got sloshed the night of his 18th birthday (for the first time legally). The next day the new drinking law went into effect, raising the age to 21....
 
Happy birthday TC. You're going to have to look on a plane to see what I'm getting ya.

21 seems like such a long time ago, not as many bills or as much debt. I was really smart back then.

I immediately visited a pub with my buddy.

My 21st doesn't stand out in my mind, because I had already been a doctor in the field of mixology for some time before.
 
Happy Birthday TC! I remember when I turned 21 ( Last year I might add ) The first thing I did was go to the range seeing as how I don't drink , but hey get plastered and make a video about it. :)

To reach the bar, you really need to be tall enough sometimes ! there are so many people between you and the graal (guinness, leffe).

When I was 18 I flew overseas, as soon as they came around with drink cart it was nothing but Gin & Tonic's the rest of the way!

Happy Birthday TC! I remember getting kicked out of a bar when I turned 21...imagine my shock to wake up the next morning to find black X's on my hand, I thought I had gotten rid of those things!
