Getting Prop Guns In Canada???

I've been doing a constant search, but am coming up dry.

i need 2 pistols with silencers(mock) attached.

They don't have to neccessarily fire. they can be spring loaded. I could get any gun under the sun if I lived in the States. i could get spring, gas blowbacks, blanks etc... but from all my research, I won't be able to get them across the border.

I've found the odd replica place in Canada, but none have silencers for sale.

anyone got any ideas? Anyone know of anywhere i can find what i'm looking for in regards to replica pistols with replica silencers? Anyone know of any prop or firearms houses in Vancouver where I can possibly rent something?

Please help, i'm going insane with all my endless searches that lead nowhere!

Thanks. I am considering that option, but only as a last resort.
 
Can't you go to like a local toy store or maybe a Toys R Us? I'm sure you can make it them toy guns look real. Or what I always tell people, Just CG the whole damn thing. :)
 
In a short I just DOP'd, we used a CO2-powered BB gun replica of a Walther - a PPK, I believe. It has a realistic slide blowback, and looks pretty decent. It came from Canadian Tire of all places, and cost about $100.

As far as I know, it's the only one they had with a realistic slide. Beyond that, I don't know of anywhere else in Canada to get replicas.
 
I don't know if you mind ordering online, but you can always try to get airsofts. Those have full blow back and look real. You can find them fairly cheap on ebay or buy some expensive ones from other online shops.
 
Airsoft handguns with gas blowback are perfect. A gas blowback handgun will run you about 100 USD. The look real and have a farily realistic weight. I have a H&K USP Tactical Airsoft and it has threads for a silencer. They will fire with no airsoft pellets in them if you sneak your thumb up on the slide release while you are pulling the trigger.

Just be aware that these are not toys, You can easily puncture an aluminum can with an Airsoft gun at 6 feet or so.

The guns come in battery-operated blowback, gas blowback, etc.

They look real and are a touch pricey for some of the more... exotic weapons like RPGs, M-60s and more. The selection is very thorough, too. From pistols to the above mentioned HMGs. Still. You can always sell them after... through an authorized dealer only, though. That's the law here in Canader, eh?

Hey there what's your budget? I have some airsofts you can use as props, and i can get them for a fair price. I can get glock 26 packages that have silencers and laser sites with them, as well as m4's and M16s. They arent blow back, but i mean they could do the trick. (Im not trying to push sales or anything, i just saw your post , and i know from experience what a pain it is looking for semi realistic prop guns in good old canuckland)
 
lol i've noticed that this convo has been pretty dead so i'mma try to bring it back to life

ok so yea i'm another one of you guys, trying to get a prop gun from to use in Canada but all of the places i've visited are either only shippable to USA or if we can use them in Canada, then they have to be clear plastic

wat i've also found from my research is that civilians CANNOT get a FAKE REPLICA GUN civilians can only get clear guns. if u want a replica then u have to get like 3 different licenses... any help?
