Hd And Local Commercials

Now that I have the equipment to shoot HD commercials, I was wondering if local cable stations are able to broadcast them yet? (I live in Pittsburgh if location matters)

I know in the Allentown/Bethlehem Area that we do not encode in HD yet and prolly wont for awhile. Now Comcast for the Reading/Malvern/North Wales/Pottstown Area is working on encoding local commercials in HD but they have not given a date as to when.
