Im so Gay

Overland is representing the hardcore from the NC... Wow, for someone who is straight outta South Charlotte, I'm pretty damn street.

Jeremy

I liked Kong. I didn't cry though.

I cried when I saw Phantom Menace though. The whole time. Between tears, I drove 20 penny nails into my forhead with a ball-peen hammer. By the end of the movie hy head looked like a puffy eyed sea urchin.

Does that make me gay?

I cried watching the " Passion of the Christ", even though I'm not Catholic. The mother seeing the son carrying the cross flashback was just a cheap blow... I couldn't resist (it seems like the whole cinema, too...)

Field of Dreams, I've seen in 200 times, and every single time, I cry.

Yeah, Field of Dreams when he calls... "Dad?". Oh, man, that's the waterworks right there.

"Wanna have a catch?" :crybaby: Gets me too.

Big Fish also made me cry, when the son is carrying his dad to the river. Yeah. Father / Son things get me too.

All you Left-Coasters (and you know exactly who you are) better get this poo poo in check before you relocate to Wilmington to help me take over Screen Gems.

I know you're not specifically talking about me ... but I'm still trying to get there. It's been slow going here in Springfield. :(

Kong's feelings for Ann Darrow makes for unbelievably moving stuff.

Also, I cry like a baby during...

-Casablanca:crybaby:
The "Play La Marseillaise" scene, and the entire airport finale

-It's A Wonderful Life:crybaby:
The "A toast...to my big brother, George. The richest man in town" scene

-Braveheart:crybaby:
Gibson's heart-wrenching "FREEEEEEDDOOOOOM!"

-Field of Dreams:crybaby:
The "Hey, dad...you wanna have a catch?" scene

-Band of Brothers:crybaby:
when the real Capt. Winters says at the finale,
"My grandson asked me if I was a hero during the war..."
(He gets choked up, then continues)
"...and I said, 'no, but I served in the company of heroes.' "

how about Braveheart? thats a tear-jerker

just kidding - you guys are pussies:Drogar-BigGrin(DBG) :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

my friend will hadnt cried since his grandfather died like 8 years ago and he cried at both lord of the rings AND king kong. He's just Peter Jackson gay.

There was a tragic ending to King Kong? I guess my cheering at the movie being put out of my misery was inappropriate, then.

I have a vague recollection of falling asleep during the fifth hour of the dinosaur/ravine scenes and my fiancee nudging me awake when the end credits ran.

Geezie wheezie, now I know why there's no DVX meetin' in LA...we're all freakin babies. Guess I'll commit to the self-flagellation:

I'm with Callaghan. Casablanca yes. Braveheart check. It's a wonderful life you bet, but the scene where George and Mary are on the phone and he tells her he doesn't want to be with her. Or the scene where Gower slaps George's ear...are you kidding me? Everytime.

The Passion when Mary wipes up His blood after being whipped. Yikes.

Signs when Mel gets pissed at everyone at their last meal.

Notebook b/c I took my Mom and she cried...her mom had just passed and she had alzheimers. Oops.

Good Will Hunting when Will says: "Not you too, Sean."

For some reason Eternal Sunshine got to me too.

And, yes, Kong, you stupid monkey with your expressive little face. Crap. If anyone needs me, I'll be in my room, curled up with my blankey...

almost falling asleep does not make you gay, no.

almost waking up does though, so if you almost woke up, then you are gay.

almost waking up twice in a row makes you not gay again....but dont almost fall asleep twice cause you that will make you doublemint twins gay...but thats not as gay as being mentos gay...which means you almost woke up thrice...the only way to revearse being mentos gay is to fall asleep with Famke Janssen or Monica Bellucci...which is nice....

I skipped that damn movie altogethor. I hate manipulative tear fests.

Now if you'll excuse me I am hunting down my dvds of steel magnolias and beaches

You can't resist getting a little weepy in the new Kong if you have a soft spot for animals. That is a testament to the score and the wonderful pathos generated by a digital puppet.

Well, I didn't CRY lol, I teared.

I also teared with Passion Of The Christ, man, I own that movie and don't ever wanna see it again. Great movie, but just too sad, lol.

Yes Braveheart. I was just explaining that one to some friends.

I have a personal favorite

At the end of The Right Stuff:

"...And for a brief moment, Gordo Cooper became the greatest pilot anyone had ever seen!"

a tear... every damn time...
