Hi all,
I went to see Brokeback Mountain over the weekend. A very well acted, beautifully shot film....but....
There were several, very noticable blow-outs in dialogue that I wouldn't have expected. I'm wondering if anyone else has seen it and did they notice it? (The dialogue was just two characters talking...not in any of the yelling scenes...)
I know, I'm probably beening way too picky, but actually I'm wondering if it was a problem with the speakers in the theater or if they really released the movie with the blowouts.
(This is one thing I really hate about being involved in production audio...it can ruin the movie magic for me...when I went to go see the last Star Wars episode, it was totally blown for me because the audio was so bad...the levels were up and down and all over the place, the mic perspective was clearly off many times, and on and on and on...the worst part was this was ILM and Lucas, and they had like 50 people credited just on the sound team...and the audio still sucked.)
Oh well...
Phil
