Pics of Letus Setup

I got wet over my cinematics mattebox and extras...I don't mind being a camera
geek, there are other worse things...umm....cant think of one now but...
Don't under estimate the MatteBox charging avenue, it works with a stubby dude
like the DVX...

I swear i had a nerd boner the whole time. it was one of the worst movies ive eer seen, but like, sreiously, Geek porn all the way.

You mean it would've been if paul thomas anderson and a pg-13 rating didn't bastardize the flick.

Please, don't confuse a hack like Paul WS Anderson with a talent like Paul Thomas Anderson.

Two different directors.:furious3:

hey scharky what's that little silver brace you have going from the rods to the letus? Did you make that or is it an adaptor that is available to buy ready?

I bought it and some how it was short with the My35, so Edwierdo built me one for much less than $50. Well he does have a Theard on this and pics.

here's another question, about how many stops of light to you lose with that thing? I read on the main website that the new flip loses 1.5 stops. I heard the old one loses a whopping 3+

Does the regular letus35A lose less than 1.5 stops of light? That might make it more worthwhile than the flip for me. As flipping an image in post is annoying. But needing a lot more light is more annoying!

The letus seems to lose about 1-1.5 stops, but it depends on the speed of the lens you are using. But with a nice fast 1.4, it's about 1 stop.

Scharky,
Do you have a link for the rods support & mattebox with
model #'s?

$500 you say. Was that the total for the whole setup
not counting the Letus of course?
Thanks,
Adrian

Sorry, just got back from a 3 day shoot over the weekend. Anyways, I ordered the mattebox and rods from EVS. Just call em up, and tell them you are looking for the Cavision 2 stage 16:9 mattebox, and they will make sure you have everything you need.
