Did you read further down the page? Jessica dumped Columbia to go to Epic? Didn't anyone tell her that they are the same company, when all is said and done? (And they're both Sony now, anyway, right?)
As noted, Richard Fleischer, the director os some 50 films, died saturday (March 25 2006) at the age of 89.
The son of Max Fleischer, who created Betty Boop and directed the animated SUPERMAN and POPEYE cartoons, Richard movies were always watchable, and sometimes great.
Among the films he directed were: The Vikings, 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea, Conan the Destroyer, Fanstastic Voyage, Soylent Green, Tora! Tora! Tora!, and The Boston Strangler.
I've seen all of 'em and they were all good, watchable "guy" flicks.
If you haven't seen some of the above films, do yourself a favor and watch one (yes, I liked Conan the Destroyer - it's fun...).
Arnold called Fleischer a man of great talent and, "An extrodinary director who leaves behind a legacy of amazing films."
