The Hills have eyes

well its being going on since the 2000 now J-horror has been happenin since the mid 90's with mostly ghost stories. (ring) etc. But torture and story ala korean's Hollyu films have been going on more recently.
 
True, but the Hills Have Eyes isn't an Asian remake. For whatever reason American horror is remake and repackage mode, going back into our own archives and going abroad (right now Asian horror is hot to be remade by us). Either way, I think both states of horror suck. I have nothing against Asian horror though I find much of it the same in style and substance, which makes it rather boring to keep watching them, but you might as well start calling the new string of horror movies snuff films because the only thing horrific about them is their brutality and lack of originality.
