You can enter non-DVX stuff "in exhibition", but not "in competition". In other words, you can show off, but you can't win prizes for it. DVXFest prizes are for DVX- or HVX-originated films.

I could see the subtitles telling a whole nother story... this might be a funny parody to do on it!
This reminds me of the old French videos for school we had to make, like I said... But when I was in middle school, my friend and I made a "music video" of us singing Mariah Carey in our PE clothes. My sister recorded HER French video on the same tape... Which happened to be rewinded a bit too far- showing part of my awesome music video to her whole class- a mortifying thought for a 6th grader.
