I totally fell for the love story and thought it was well done. yeah those scenes could have hit the floor easily. I did love the fight scene with the T-rexs though.
The end was heart wrenching to me both times I have seen it. That scene where he slips off the building after he died was very well done.
I thought that the character of Kong was well done also. For having zero dialog you totally felt and understood everything he was thinking. Kudos to the animators.

not that it really matters i supose...even if they were hanging off the talons its still a rediculous escape.
