Larry the Cable Guy...Health Inspector

This Friday... only saw the preview on tv a sec ago. uhm, I dont know. Stand-up is one thing, but can he carry an entire movie?

I've never found this guy or the blue collar tour/show funny. I don't like redneck humor.

I'd sooner laugh at a Farrakhan rally.

I thought it was a bad joke. Unfortunately they are charging actual dollars for people to see this movie. Oh well. 10 bucks I can safely say will be staying tucked in my wallet.

The guy has a huge fan base, and yes, they will prob go to see this. I think a good number of them will be people who prob dont go to the movies very often, but rather are more his fans, specifically. I'll be interested to see where this places on this list for the weekend.

How can you not like Ron White? heh!

Ron White is a drunk and I can respect that.

This movie looks like complete ass. It'll do huge numbers in rural communities where being a redneck isn't considered a bad thing. They celebrate it. Sad.

Is he a cable guy, or a friggin health inspector?

Pick one, you can't be both. ;)

Depends on where you live. In my mom's town, the 911 operator is also the hairdresser, and you pay your utilities at the butcher shop.

Is he really that stupid, or is it kinda an act? I read in Rolling Stone that it was an act.

The movie looks bad, but Larry himself was on Leno last night, and he was pretty funny. Julia Louis Dreyfus is kinda stuck up, too.

The best part was when he was talking about bagging his own groceries, and an old lady came up and patted him on the head and said "i'm glad that this store is hiring people like you" implying that he had mental disabilities.

I'm fairly certain its an act. heh! I had a friend who opened for him years ago, before he became what he is today.

top five this weekend some reason i can feel it.

Yeah, sadly. I'm voting for 6 or 7. Depends on how last week's movies continue to do. A lot of people haven't actually heard of this one so I'm hoping its numbers suck.
