Thankyou Ron Fricke

Mino

Northern Dreamer
I finally understand without question what direction I want to take with my gear. All this time I have been fooling myself into some idea of producing works of drama with actors and sets and budgets and mayhem. The I watched Baraka! Now I understand with total clarity what my mission is and I am totally blown away with excitement like I’ve not felt in a very long time. If you haven’t caught this film yet be sure to place it at the very top of your list. Ron Frick is like Disjecta to the tenth power and I mean that with total respect to the latter. I’m so, so, so happy this film came to me.

Man, everyone is saying how great this film is. I gotta go check it out!

So mino, basically what you're saying is that your going to buy a 70mm camera?

Hey, I'm actually interested in your thread and trying to understand your newfound zeal. I'm not hip to the movie you mentioned. Thanks for using my interest in your thread against me in the form of an insult.

Sorry Terry not meant as an insult but I can see where it could come across that way. My heads buzzin with a million new feelings that I'm trying to work out regarding my role in the world of art, film and technology. Give me some time to solidify it and I promise I will answer your "Do tell" question in due course. Somehow after watching this film I got in touch with some deep emotions and ideas that I have been toying with of late and what I can say for sure at the moment is only that I now understand clearly the direction I want to take with my work and artform. Hope this makes some sense. Like I said I'm kind of bouncing off the wall here with a new flood of possibilities, ideas and new directions and all due to the enlightenment this film afforded me.

Too esoteric for me.
No Lois, "Who's the Boss?" is not a food.

Anyone who gets that joke watches entirely too much Family Guy (just like me.)
