a little jacket to keep my dvx safe and dry

think snowboarding if that helps at all...yea i know the polarmitts are sick, but i can't afford one at the moment...

B&H far from sucks, 90% of the time, when EVS doesn't have something, they will. I've bought a ton of stuff from them, they're a great outfit.

That being said, if EVS has what you're looking for, then that's going to be the best deal. EVS carries Porta Brace gear, so if you call and ask, they can probably get you that slicker, which to me, is your best bet.

I concur that B&H is a good thing. :thumbsup:

I have several PortaBrace items (2 camera bags, monitor bag, and a mixer bag)... however, I'd pass on their rain slicker as I've heard bad things about it from people who've owned it. For one, it isn't as easy to see your camera's controls, etc. Secondly, I've heard that, due to its design, rain runs down into your shot rather easily. I've also heard that the big pocket on the side is hard to keep dry.

I would opt for either of the ones you linked to.... possibly the first one.

When I read that post all I saw was "Shut up TC, your wrong."

:crybaby::kali::cheesy::evil:

Awww, man... I didn't mean to sleight you; after all, I backed you on the B&H thang. :thumbsup:

I only posted those thoughts about the PortaBrace slicker because I had researched it once myself.

To be honest, I've managed to get by, so far, with small plastic Wal Mart bags, rubberbands, and gaff tape. :cheesy:

No worries bud, I was totally joking. I haven't tried any of those rain slickers, I only suggested the Porta Brace one because I just happen to love my mixer case. :love4:

(Again, no sweat, I was totally joking. :beer:)
